This is the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2. You need this file if you use anything other than Windows Vista and have not already installed the .NET Framework version 2. LCARS x32 cannot run without it.

This installs the Microsoft Speech API 5.1 which is needed if you want to use the speech recognition or text-to-speech features of LCARS x32.
If you have used speech recognition software before, or have MS Office installed, you may not need this file. To check, go to Control Panel and look for "Speech". If you have "Speech", open it and see if there is a section labeled "Microphone" at the bottom. If you do not have "Speech" or you are missing the "Microphone" section, then you will need to download and run this program. (unzip and run "setup.exe").

If your font looks way to big or if everything is followed by "..." then you probably need this file. To get the correct font showing, download this file and extract it to your fonts folder (usually C:\windows\fonts). Then restart the computer.
